Northern Goshawk (Accipiter gentilis)

The Northern Goshawk is a forest bird. This species hunts birds and
mammals. Perches silently, waiting and descends on prey rapidly.
The Blue Jay issues loud cries to warn other birds and mammals of an approaching predator. All forest inhabitants hide themselves away.
