Dark-eyed Junco (Junco hyemalis)

Breeds from Alaska east across Canada to Newfoundland.
These birds migrate further south, arriving in their winter quarters
around mid-september and leaving to breed around mid-March.

  1. I just told family yesterday, how much I adore our Winter visitors, the Dark-eyed Juncos. They always look like they are wearing little boots on their feet, and I enjoy their colour variations. You got a marvelous capture presented here!
